Swipe continues to push the Swipe Issuing platform products to businesses, like Binance, which will help the SXP deflationary ecosystem.
Current Swipe Saffron, Sky, and Steel Cards that are linked onto the Swipe Wallet App will be migrating to the Binance Card platform to further support a synced ecosystem of Card products for Binance.com users. After this migration occurs future Swipe Card Lock-ups can be utilized via SXP directly on the Binance Card Platform. Currently this transition will support EU/UK cardholders. This means you will be able to use your Swipe Card connected to funds on your Binance.com account as well as order Swipe branded cards from Binance.com directly when this switch occurs.
The following benefits will be upgraded for current and future Swipe Slate users.
- 8% Cashback in BTC, BNB, PAX or SXP (your choice)
- Swipe Rebates: All current rebates
- $30,000 in Referral Rewards (Activated immediately. You and each slate card holder you refer you $3,000 ($1,500 each x 10 referrals)
- On-Chain Swipe Staking APR
- Vote via Swipe Governance.
- Your stake can be unlocked at anytime after the 6 months but you will loose all benefits except 2% cashback.
For Swipe US Cardholders: No changes made at this time except the benefit of an upgraded Slate card. We also anticipate Virtual Cards + Apple Pay/Google Pay live by next week.
Please note: We will automatically re-stake your SXP for Sky and Steel Cardholders. If you have removed your SXP from the Wallet and are a Sky and Steel cardholder, we will give you up to 48 hours to deposit those SXP back for us to automatically re-lock. Failure to do so will remove your existing benefits.
Binance Card Platform Details
Users will receive an email shortly about the migration and to provide their Binance Account ID. Your Binance Account ID can be found by following the steps below:
1 — Go to your profile and select Dashboard
2- You will find your Binance ID just after your e-mail
The Swipe Saffron, Sky and Steel Card migrations will occur sometime in or around the end of November-December, with a date announced when available. Thereafter future Sky and Steel SXP Lock-ups can be done directly on Binance.com
